We are happy to say that another new product line has made its way onto the shelves of Honet Dermatology/Cosmetic and it’s called Arcona®! After much research and decision-making, we are pleased to announce that early this week, we began carrying the Arcona® product line. Ranging among a diverse line of skincare products that are based on “healthy” ingredients, we are carrying all ends of the spectrum, including gentle exfoliants to amazing toner pads and a few select products for men. If you’re looking to change things up a bit with your skincare regimen, add new specialized products, or simply looking for some unique, natural, and nourishing skincare elements to explore as your next step, Arcona® may have what you’re looking for.
Arcona®, a proprietary skincare line based in Los Angeles and founded years ago by a German woman named Arcona, has always focused on skincare that is based in natural, enzymatic-based ingredients, antioxidants, plant lipids and extracts, marine plant extracts, essential oils, vitamins, and minerals to effect skin health, rejuvenation, and visible, clinical results. It is also a line that has been steadfast and cognizant about not including petrochemicals, binders, fillers, chemical stabilizers, parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates, perfumes, or dyes. Although it is a company that has been around for years, it isn’t till now that it has become available in this part of the country. We believe that this is the perfect product line to add to our skincare armamentarium and positions well with our “healthful” skincare philosophy.
One of the most popular products within Arcona® is the gommages. In case you aren’t familiar with the term, a gommage means “scrub” in French, which translates to the skincare term of “exfoliant.” There are several goammages in the line, but the standout is the Arcona® Cranberry Gommage, which was voted the “Best of Beauty” by Allure. Needless to say, this is quite a remarkable product because it is a perfect trio of exfoliants. Combining the exfoliative benefits of volcanic mineral, sucrose, and salicylic acid, it facilitates both physical and acidic exfoliation, so that your congested pores get de-clogged and the surface of your skin gets smooth and soft.
Another unique group of items we are very excited about is the Arcona® Treatment Pads. There are several different types of pads in the product line to meet every skin type’s need, but the one that may be perfect for anyone to try is the Triad Pads. The Triad Pads tone, hydrate and cleanse the face, gently and effectively, while leaving the skin nourished with antioxidants, vitamins, phytonutrients and essential fatty acids. You can imagine how awesome they are to throw into your gym bag or to keep by the sink for a quick cleanse or refreshing toning. They are especially convenient for travel. Another great treatment pad is the Tabula Rasa Pads, which are ideal for oily-skin or skin that is susceptible to breakouts. They contain witch hazel, lactic acid, and grape seed oil, perfect for acne prone skin. They are even fantastic for men for post-shave use, to help combat stubborn razor burn and ingrown hairs. Another great pad is the Solution Pads, which is perfect for treating photoaging, fine lines, and small blemishes, providing a deep exfoliation, while targeting pigment and uneven skin. All in all, we are thrilled to have these unique treatment pads to add to our line of skincare products.
One of the most unique and effective items within Arcona® is the Eye Dew Plus eye treatment. When this one arrived in our office to try, it had us jumping around with excitement and giddiness because of its “wow” factor. When applied on the eye area, it gives an immediate holographic, pearly appearance. Its proprietary Liquid Crystals, along with the treatment’s actives Dermaxyl® and Cavamax®, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve elasticity, tighten, and hydrate the eye area. We are totally loving it! In fact, don’t just take our word for it, because Kim Kardashian has also recommended the EyeDew Plus as a fabulous eye treatment.
Another unique item in the product lineup is the Tea Tree Mask. This refreshing and refining mask can be used a few times weekly and helps to clarify and refine skin texture. This distinctive at-home mask helps to shrink the appearance of pores and to reduce breakouts with sulfur and grapefruit extract, all while refining the texture and tone of your skin. It also helps to calm the skin with anti-inflammatory allantoin and lavender extracts.
